FAQs

How much does a brand film cost?

1

Most CMP brand films range from $1,500 to $35,000, depending on scope, crew size, locations, and shoot days. Multi-video campaigns and long-form documentary work go up from there. Every project gets a custom proposal — we don't do off-the-shelf packages because no two stories are the same.

What's your typical timeline?

2

A standard brand film takes 4-8 weeks from kickoff to final delivery — about a week for discovery and concept, 1-2 weeks for pre-production and scheduling, a shoot day or two, and 2-3 weeks for editing and revisions. Larger campaigns and documentary work take longer. We'll give you a real timeline at the proposal stage, not a guess.

Every project follows our four-phase process: Discover (we listen, learn, and understand the goal), Develop (concept, treatment, and shot plan), Direct (production, on location), and Deliver (edit, color, sound, and final files). You'll know what's happening at every stage — no guessing, no surprises.

What does the process actually look like?

Do you handle the creative concept, or do we provide one?

4

Both — but we strongly prefer to be involved from the concept stage. The best work comes from CMP and the client developing the idea together. If you already have a clear vision, great. If you have a goal but no concept yet, even better — that's where we add the most value.

Do you take on smaller projects, or is there a minimum budget?

5

Most CMP projects start around $800 for short-form work and scale from there. We're selective about the work we take on — not because of ego, but because every project gets our full attention. If your project is smaller than that, we'll tell you upfront and recommend someone we trust.

Do you offer monthly retainers for ongoing content?

6

Yes. CMP offers tiered monthly retainers for businesses that need consistent content over time — built around a set number of deliverables, shoot days, and creative direction. Retainers start at $300/month for entry-level social content support and scale up to full creative partnership packages with weekly deliverables, dedicated shoot days, and ongoing brand strategy. Best for: small businesses building a content presence, real estate agents needing a steady stream of listing and brand content, and growing companies looking to establish consistent social media without the per-project lift.
